The University of Virginia Foundation (“UVAF”) is embarking on an initiative to develop approximately 28 acres into mixed-income housing within North Fork, a UVA Discovery Park (“North Fork”) in Albemarle County, Virginia. This is, in part, to support the University of Virginia’s affordable housing initiative.
Request for Qualifications
The UVA Foundation has issued this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to identify qualified teams to develop approximately 28 acres into mixed-income housing within North Fork. The RFQ is available at the link below. Statements of Qualification must be received electronically by January 23, 2025.

Questions may be submitted to Todd Marshall at tmarshall@uvafoundation.com no later than 5:00 p.m. EST on December 18, 2024.
Questions and responses will be available to all respondents via posting on this website by January 14, 2025.
Pre-Submission Conference and Site Visit
A non-mandatory Pre-Submission Conference will be held at North Fork in the North Fork Meeting Center on December 11, 2024, with a site visit to follow.

- From Lewis and Clark Drive, turn onto Research Park Blvd, entering The Town Center.
- Park in any of the Town Center lots (see map).
- Enter Town Center Four (994 Research Park Blvd) and walk to the south end of the building. Side A can be entered from the center or left side doors of the meeting center. Signs will be posted.
